There's no lack of exceptionally gifted and talented musicians, producers and organizers,
composers, improvisers both professionals and amateurs, but....
We felt that our planet was drenched by 2/4 or 4/4 beat.
You can hear it in jazz, classical, pop, folk music, blues, rock etc.
What ever genre we listen to, counted the four or eight beat.
That's why we wanted to do something completely different.
We thought that our music could bring a new approach.
The result became TRIO which is an acronym for "The Rhythm Is Odd".
A progressive musical group established in September 2006 by
Bjorn Egelius bass, Leif Fredriksson on drums and Tobbe Johansson playing guitar.
We do not play the traditional 4/4 music, instead we we seek other rhythmical patterns
that is inspiring to our fans ears.
We in TRIO are influenced by all the good and fantastic musicians we
earlier in life has both played with or listened to.
Many of the great giants who lived before us has left recordings that we all can enjoy and get inspired by.
Many have already left us, but new fantastic talented and gifted persons gets born every day, we thank you for that.
It makes the music live.
